How often do you change movies? What are your upcoming movies going to be?
As a cinema with a limited number of screens, we are endeavoring to limit our engagements to 2 weeks maximum when possible. The film studios, however, have ultimate control over the engagement period depending on their gross receipts. We update our film titles and show times every Wednesday on our website, hawaiicinemas.com as well as on fandango.com.
Is this an all-ages movie theater?
While we do serve alcohol, we are still a family friendly, all-ages movie theater.

We are located at the eastern end of the Queen’s Marketplace, in between Sansei and the Food Court. Our address is:

I hear Waikoloa Luxury Cinemas is expensive. Is this true?
We offer many luxury amenities that are included in our ticket prices, which are comparable to luxury cinemas on the mainland. These include being able to reserve your exact seat online days before the showtime, knowing that it’ll be waiting regardless of when you show up. All seating is primarily leather loveseat rockers with swing-out tray tables for dining in the theatre. The venue has a full-service bar and restaurant where all food and beverages may be enjoyed in our covered lanai, and food may be delivered to your theatre seat. The venue also has live music every Wednesday through Sunday for guests to enjoy before or after the movie.
While these extra amenities may not appeal to all, for those who might enjoy them, they do come at an extra cost over that of a traditional movie theatre. View ticket prices
Do I need a movie ticket to enjoy the Bistro and/or bar?
Not at all! Everyone is welcome to enjoy drinks at our bar, and lunch, dinner or dessert at The Bistro, no movie ticket required.
I just purchased tickets. Now what?
You will receive an email confirmation shortly with your ticket number, movie time, and seat reservation. (Be sure to check your spam folder, just in case).
Is it possible to change my seat reservation?
Our reservation system online does not currently support seat reservation changes; however, you are welcome to call or stop by the Cinemas at least an hour before the mis-purchased show time to change tickets or seats.
Do your theater seats recline?
All of our exceptionally-comfy plush seats are rockers, but only the very first row reclines fully.
Do you offer Kama’aina discounts?
Yes, we do! Unlike the traditional theatres on the island, we offer a 10% discount on all food, concession items and beverages (excluding alcohol) to those who show a Hawaii Driver’s License.
Do you sell Gift Cards?
Yes, we do! You may purchase gift cards at Waikoloa Luxury Cinemas for our theatre or The Bistro.
